THE FILM STUDIO:   A number of colleges and universities have on-site film studios that give their students the ability of filming their student projects on-campus.
Colleges and universities are also popular for creating and running film festivals.
Ex.
Campus Movie Fest (CMF) is the world’s largest student film festival. For 20 years we’ve provided young filmmakers all of the equipment, training, and support they needed to make a five-minute movie in a week. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our daily lives, we wanted to make sure more students than ever had the opportunity to learn, create, and celebrate their work. Your safety is our #1 concern, and so we’ve evolved CMF to be able to continue in a completely off-campus way. 4 moviemaking weeks. Every school in the country.  www.campusmoviefest.com
